Would you like to build collaborative communities through a game? A new free service is being offered to social and sustainable entrepreneurs to do just that. E-motive and the E-mpulse game team invite social and sustainable entrepreneurs to take part in a new and exciting service that has been developed for fostering international projects - the E-mpulse game. In short the E-mpulse Game is an on- and offline incubation challenge of 16 weeks to support you to build or strengthen partnerships and to develop next level ideas, dreams and projects. The E-mpulse game is developed on the E-motive platform and within its spirit, in collaboration with three Elos partners in the Netherlands, Spain and Brazil, using its experience in boosting social entrepreneurs and international initiatives. They now offer this opportunity to some of the community initiatives that would be open to have an e-motive experience. Niels Koldewijn of Stichting Elos Nederland, one of the organisers, states “I think it could be great for the GEN-network and a great space for GEN-members and ecovillages to share knowledge and build projects together.” The incubation process starts per 8 June and is focused on helping participants or perhaps a GEN member ecovillage to take the current collaboration and project to a next level, but at the same time it is a collective challenge to find financial and other supporters for all participants involved. The whole process of the E-mpulse Game includes an online workspace for presenting and developing projects, sharing experiences, tools, working materials, and support between members. Every three to four weeks participants will receive a new challenge; online coaching (for groups); group mentoring and online masterclasses from renowned specialists; collective matchmaking and mobilization process of funders and supporters and a closing collaborative E-mpulse festival in Madrid in November for participants to present their project achievements to potential partners, other platform members and other changemakers. The E-mpulse game is open for 50 selected participant, yet priority is given to E-motive members and the Oasis network. Participating in the online process is free for 50 selected participants. Participation in the online process gives participants the right to free access to the closing event. This excludes travel costs, but E-mpluse will have scholarships for 8 flights for selected amount of participants to be present. E-mpulse Game is more than just a game. Participants become part of a network that for the last 5 years has been rethinking development cooperation, shifting our mindset about north-south relationships to a mutual learning perspective and promoting advocacy, exchange and community actions that not only solve problems, but also open people’s minds to what is possible in this world. We want to keep innovating glocal solutions, build competences for collaboration, re-think fundraising for social impact and stimulate participants' work that has impact where they are and might offer solutions, tools and inspiration for other peoples challenges.
